Kid Connection is a creative, engaging, and educational preschool program that supports early childhood learning and development in a nurturing environment. From your child’s first introduction to preschool in our Stepping Stones classroom, to their growing independence in our five-day Building Blocks pre-kindergarten program, our goal is to offer a successful and rewarding preschool experience that meets your child’s individual needs. Our dedicated teachers design a theme based curriculum, combining learning through play with teacher directed activities to create a rich learning environment. Kid Connection respects each parent as their child’s first educator, and we welcome your involvement in your child’s care and education as we build a cooperative relationship between teachers, children, and their families. Kid Connection is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). We are a school year program, and follow the Winchester Public School calendar in regards to closures for holidays, vacations, professional development days, and snow days.
REGISTRATION PROCESS 2020-2021
Families who registered prior to the shutdown due to the pandemic have first right of refusal for their child to retain their original classroom spot for the 2020/2021 School year. Class size has been reduced to 12 students, and we will be following the Minimum Requirements for Reopening as directed by EEC. Kid Connection and Winchester Recreation is sharing a Covid-19 parent information page which outlines our health and safety protocols as well as attendance and refund policies as related to the pandemic. Additional enrollment for the current school year is dependent on available openings in each classroom. Please contact the preschool director for more information or to schedule a tour by calling 781-721-7125.
Once registered, parents must complete and submit additional required enrollment forms before their child can attend, including a current physical and record of immunizations. Enrollment forms will be emailed to all registered families, and can also be downloaded on the town website www.winchester.us/635/Recreation-Department
Fees and Tuition
A $50 fee for new students is due upon registration, and is non-refundable. Kid Connection is a school year program, and tuition is payable through a 9 month payment plan, with the first month deposit due upon registration to be applied towards October, The remaining monthly payments are through automatic credit card payment, and will be deducted the first of each month, beginning in November. If you withdraw from the program during the school year, you will forfeit one month advanced payment unless a replacement is found prior to the 1st of that month.
